  • Come spend a day in the country! Bring your glazed or unglazed (but bisqued) pieces and experience one of the most exciting ways to fire clay!!

Arrive at 10am       Short Introduction to Raku Kilns and firing            

Firing                        Firing will occur throughout the workshop

Potluck Lunch        Each person is asked to bring a dish to share. Bring your own drinks (non-alcoholic) beverages-Tea will be supplied

Cleanup                  Everyone to participate in cleanup.

Departure 4pm


Size & Quantity Restrictions for Pieces:

A maximum of 3 pieces per participant

2 dimensional pieces: maximum 10” x 10” (such as a flat tile of very flat plate)

3 dimensional pieces: maximum height is 12” with a base no larger than 4” x 5” (such as vessels)
