YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR THE JANUARY 19 WORKSHOP

Workshop 1: Saturday,  January 19th from 9:30 – 4:00

Teresa will instruct us on throwing vessels for containing and serving. This will include lidded containers and casseroles. If time permits we will consider spouts and handles that could be used to turn a lidded container into a teapot.  Four different types of lids will also be demonstrated.

Includes one bag of Tucker's Mid Porcelain 5 clay and a bisque firing.

Workshop 2: Saturday, February 9th from 9:30 – 4:00

Teresa will instruct us on sectional throwing.  Vessels will be made from individual pieces that are altered and assembled, like baskets, butter dishes, vases, flower bricks.  Teresa will demonstrate how to make bisque molds that could be incorporated into our practice. These molds begin on the wheel and are then altered and may be used either for making interesting curved bottoms and closed vessels.

Includes one bag of Tucker's Mid Porcelain 5 clay and a bisque firing.

Coffee, tea and snacks provided. Bring your own lunch.
