Emerge

July 2, 2016

EMERGE - "Each artist seeks to master their material and processes to see their vision and voice emerge from the raw material of clay to the finished object."

During the opening reception, Mary McKenzie was awarded Best of Theme, Jacquie Blondin received the Design Award, and the Technique Award went to Heidi McKenzie.   The Mississauga Potters’ Guild planned the exhibit to emerge into the broader arts community and establish its place as an organization of exceptional depth and diversity in clay.   The Emerge Exhibition took place at the Living Arts Centre Gallery, Mississauga Ontario. The exhibition was an opportunity for Guild members to showcase their work to the Mississauga community.   The opening reception was attended by almost 200 people - Guild members, family, friends, and supporters of the Guild and the arts.

  • Marc Egan, Studio Ceramicist and faculty in the Ceramics Department at Sheridan College, Oakville Ontario.
