Classes for Adults

About Our Studio

Our teaching studio has pottery wheels for throwing and large work tables for hand-building. Our excellent instructors provide both individual coaching and class demonstrations to help participants make various forms. You will have the opportunity to create, decorate, and complete multiple pieces by the end of the session. All work made in class is bisque-fired, glazed by you, and finally glaze-fired to Cone 6 in our studio kilns.

Participants also learn how to manage clay and properly clean up. Reducing the accumulation of clay dust in the studio helps to ensure everyone's health and safety.

Your class fee includes use of studio glazes, firing fees and one 20-lb bag of studio clay. (Additional bags of clay are available for purchase.) Tool kits are extra.
