MISSISSAUGA FESTIVAL OF TREES - December 9 - 19th, 2021

The Festival celebrates the joy of the winter season, showcasing displays of seasonal lights, contemporary tree and woodpile art installations, artisan and culinary markets, entertainment and public workshops, at the beautiful, historic venue of the Small Arms Inspection Building.

Open to artists’ interpretations, the Festival's tree and woodpile installations celebrate the winter season and the cultural diversity of Mississauga. Artists, postsecondary students, and community groups have come together to present these installations throughout the duration of the festival. An Artisan Market runs the first weekend, from December 10th-12th, and a Culinary Market runs the following weekend, the 17th-18th. A Family PJ Party runs December 19th, marking the book launch of a local Mississauga author. Organized throughout are workshops and other community events.

MAC is thrilled to announce the launch of our Martys HUB Holiday Market! This virtual marketplace will help holiday shoppers find local Mississauga artists like you and connect them to your products and services. Our Holiday Market will launch on Thursday, November 18, 2021, and vendors and products will be added throughout the holiday season.

Because you are a member of MAC, and have an active profile on Martys HUB, we would like to offer you a Martys HUB Holiday Market listing. Note: MAC will not be collecting money or selling your products for you, our Market will link directly to your website/webstore or email that you provide.

To participate, we will need some information from you as soon as possible so that we can get your products and services online. Please note that it will take 2-3 business days before your artist profile and products will be uploaded to the Martys HUB Holiday Market.

Please download the excel sheet here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1acnntZxSKsO7FHdu1gCpPG-ryJ_a0TF1/view?usp=sharing

  1. Complete the Artist Information Tab, and the Product Information Tab and/or Service Information Tab (if applicable). This information will be included in your artist shop profile and will also be used to populate the product information in the shop.

  2. Please send 1 Feature Photo that we will use for your artist profile. This can be a company logo, a headshot, or even product photo that showcases the style/majority of your work. Please name the image: artist-name_profile.jpg

  3. We will also need 1 image per product or service. These images should clearly show the item or visually represent the service (ex. a photo of you and your guitar to represent guitar lessons). As indicated in the excel sheet, please name the product/service images: artist-name_product-name.jpg

Please email the excel document to Susan Durnin, admin@mississaugaartscouncil.com and we will get your information uploaded to the Martys HUB Holiday Market in 2-3 business days. You can send images as email attachments, a google drive or dropbox link, or by wetransfer. (Note: If your changes are received after November 16, 2021 we cannot guarantee that your products will be updated in time for the market launch!)
