Upcoming Shows, Sales and Exhibitions
Help us keep the arts community up-to-date with any ceramics-related shows and exhibitions. Email us at info@mississaugapotters.com and we will post it on our website.
Fortunately, we’ve been so busy at MAC that the weeks are jammed and we have lots to do. One big thing underway is the development of the artists’ online hub, where many of you will have the chance to be seen and heard this spring. It’s an essential ingredient of MAC’s evolved strategy, becoming an arts service agency for professional creatives.
Being seen and heard from, is at the core of what so many creatives are all about and to lose that for a year plus, is more than hard. So a sunny day, and better COVID-19 numbers are good signs and we enjoy their promise. In the meantime, preparing to go for it, dig in, learn more, create more and get better is our mantra. Because our time is coming back and we want to be ready for the new reality we will see in months.
Right now, please take advantage of the experiences, the learnings, celebrations we have on deck and make more of your creative selves.
Hosted on ZOOM throughout February and March

Mississauga Arts Council would like to invite you to participate in our exciting new pilot project, the Holiday Arts Boutique. This is an online shopping hub that will feature many of Mississauga's best artists, musicians, dancers, photographers, and more.
Our Boutique will attempt to attract a broad audience to a central location so they can discover new local artists from all genres. We can offer products (crafts, fashions, artworks, photography, Music CDs, DVDs, books etc) or services (music/dance lessons, artwork commissions, photography sessions) and MAC will not take any commission. We want to digitally support our members since COVID has restricted the usual in-person holiday markets.
If you are selling now and wish to learn more about this opportunity or to participate, please contact Susan Durnin admin@mississaugaartscouncil.com
If you are seeking to sell online and need some help navigating the opportunities contact coach Raheel Patel contact@holycow.studio.
Join FUSION'S MAKERS MARKET. Expand your audience and connect with clients now and into the future!
We know that this year has been tough on everybody. We were very disappointed to have to cancel the Clay and Glass Show this year on account of COVID-19. So that's why we decided to offer you a new way to promote your work through the FUSION Makers Market. We are creating an easy access platform to showcase FUSION members' work. Through this online gallery, we want YOU to be able to connect directly to people in order to SELL your work during this time when many shows are being cancelled or postponed.
FUSION will regularly feature work and artists from the MAKERS MARKET to increase your exposure and sales opportunities.
To join, you only need to submit 5 images, a short bio/artist statement and a contact link. Ideally having your own website for customers to visit is best to facilitate sales.
All sales and delivery of work will take place directly with the artist. FUSION will not take any commission. 100% of sales will go to you. Being apart of FUSION's Makers Market is a benefit of membership. Not a current member? No problem! You can just update your membership when you apply.
We're really excited to get the Makers Market up and going as soon as possible, so we need you to send us your submission now! Click the link below for details on how to apply.
